With the Berlitz Method®, all conversation during the online class takes place in the target language. Our online instructors use a conversational approach based on listening and speaking. We emphasize practical vocabulary and grammar in the context of real-life situations, and we supplement study with relevant reading and writing exercises. You'll find yourself taking on a new language the same way you did your first - with natural ease.

Many people have already had some language instruction before their first experience with Berlitz. In order to know where to begin learning your new language, Berlitz has developed standardized proficiency levels for all of the languages we teach.
